1st bear harvested in Hayward, WI on 9/17/09 by Lyle Young. Field dressed 314 lbs.
Doug Toenjes of Ellsworth caught and released this lake sturgeon on clam lake in siren on 8/22/09. It was
86 inches long and took 2 hours to land it.
Anyone that has ever met Burt Brickner knows he always has a story to tell you.
That collection of stories has just gotten one bigger. With the assistance of his son, Joe, grandson, Mike,
and his muzzleloader, Burt bagged himself a prize, a black bear. This was quite a gift, just 25 days before his
5th birthday. This was the second bear he has bagged in his hunting lifetime but this one was definitely one to be
proud of with a field dressed weight of 371 lbs.
Opening morning, J.P. Eaton, 14, shot this 23 pound Tom in Buffalo County Wisconsin. Two Toms came into the decoys after calling for approximately an hour and J.P. was more than ready to finish the deal.
